    Second Only to Patching

Posted by DT on Jan 26th 2021

This book is excellent. I have been at the modular for about 10 years, so I know my way around it pretty well. I have read extensively online about patching, manufacturers, and module functions. This book provides all the information clearly and succinctly within an extremely well produced package. The photos are excellent, the interviews offer new perspectives from artists I recognize, as well as introductions to new artists. I bought it to spice up my patching, which had become a little stagnant over time. The patch examples are great and the authors have created a system of symbols that make the patches universal across makers by focusing on their function. Reading it is second only to actually patching!
