The KIP-001 is a pro-grade power supply featuring custom-designed transformers and five fully isolated ports.

Engineered to deliver over 9.4V (unloaded) under stable 100V-120V power conditions, this unit provides "High Tension" power that adds punch, thickness, and brightness to your tone—especially for Distortion and Overdrive pedals. By utilizing a fully isolated circuit, it virtually eliminates the digital/analog interference noise common in modern pedalboards.

• 9.4V High-Headroom Design: Specifically voiced to give your analog pedals more "air" and presence compared to standard 9V supplies.

• Ultra-Compact & Lightweight: We’ve pushed the limits of enclosure size to fit the slimmest pedalboards. It's roughly the size of a 9V battery and weighs only 144g.

• Variable Voltage Port: Port 5 features a selectable toggle for 9V, 12V, or 18V, accommodating a wide range of effect types.

• Infinite Expandability: The unique LINK function allows you to connect additional units (KIP-AD5, sold separately) via cable. This modular design offers unparalleled layout freedom while maintaining the signature 9.4V+ output across all units.

• Note: Total current draw across linked units should not exceed 2A (2000mA).

Important Safety & Usage Notes

• Heat Dissipation: The KIP-001 is designed to use the top of the chassis as a heat sink. Under high loads, the surface may become quite hot; this is a result of the high-voltage, low-loss design and is not a defect.

• High-Draw Devices: While the unit can power many digital pedals (verified compatible with BOSS GT-1000CORE), we do not recommend using it with devices that require extremely high capacity (e.g., Line 6 HX Stomp, which requires 3A).

• Hot-Plugging: To protect your pedals, do not connect or disconnect DC cables while the power supply is turned on.
